You feel called to lead your church or group in worship.
You lead, or want to lead, a worship team, youth worship or a house church.
You want worship that keeps Jesus at the center, not the platform.
You want to lead your team well, avoid burnout and grow in private devotion.
Imagine one month from now: you stand before your congregation knowing why you chose every song, how to lead your team with grace and how to make room for the Holy Spirit, with Jesus at the center.

What's truly uplifting is how this helps us stay hopeful and trusting in God, while also nurturing our relationship with Him - and the wisdom gained makes us more empathetic and effective counselors.
This program was well thought out and organized, it brought many concepts forward with associated actionable content that will be directly applicable and re-usable as I journey forward.
This Course helped me to understand the deliverance ministry in a more advanced method to help and assist all individuals in need of spiritual breakthroughs and freedom from generational curses and sins and iniquities of past life styles.
Questions
A worship leader helps a congregation encounter God through sung worship. Beyond leading songs on Sunday, the role includes choosing and ordering songs with biblical intention, leading a team and its rehearsals, making room for the Holy Spirit in services, caring for team members and keeping a private life of prayer and Scripture. What does a worship leader actually do?
With the Christian Worship Leader certificate you can lead worship and a worship team in your church, plan Christ-centered services and rehearsals, lead worship at youth events, house churches and retreats, and mentor new worship leaders. It is a ministry certificate, not a music degree, and it does not replace hands-on music or vocal lessons. It is not an ordination either: ordination is a separate application to Shakeid Ministries Global, which reviews each one.
No. The Christian Worship Leader course is about the heart, theology and leadership of worship, so it suits seasoned musicians, singers and people just starting to lead. It includes a module on music excellence and skill development, alongside the spiritual and leadership foundations every worship leader needs.
Jesus taught that true worshipers worship the Father in spirit and truth (John 4:23–24), and Scripture shows worship leaders as servants who prepare themselves, lead with skill and point people to God, like the Levite musicians appointed by David (1 Chronicles 15–16). The Christian Worship Leader course starts from that teaching, so your leading flows from the heart rather than from performance.
The Christian Worship Leader course covers 10 modules: The Nature of Worship as Revealed by Jesus; The Identity and Calling of a Worship Leader; Spiritual Formation and Discipline of the Worship Leader; The Role of the Holy Spirit in Worship; Practical Worship Leadership Skills; Music Excellence and Skill Development; Worship Team Building and Management; Worship Ministry Systems and Operations; The Spiritual Impact of Corporate Worship; and Maturity, Multiplication, and Ministry Influence.
No prior experience or qualification is required. The Christian Worship Leader course starts from the foundations and builds step by step, so it suits beginners as well as people already serving in a church, ministry or practice. All you need is a phone, tablet or computer and a desire to help others. If you are unsure whether it fits your situation, contact us and we will help you decide.
