Ordination is for ministry and counseling paths, so every course counts except the coaching courses. Being enrolled is enough: you do not need to finish your course before you apply.

What Shakeid looks for

Shakeid Ministries Global looks at your calling and readiness as a whole. The form asks where you stand on its statement of faith: answer honestly, it is okay to disagree.

Who can apply for ordination?
Students of our counseling and ministry courses: every course except the coaching courses, because ordination is for ministry and counseling paths. You apply from your student space, with the account you enrolled with.
Do I need to finish my course first?
No. You can apply as soon as you are enrolled in an eligible course. Shakeid Ministries Global looks at your calling, your training and your character as a whole.
What does the application fee cover?
The application and review fee ($117) covers the processing of your application, the review of your documents, the assessment and the board review. You pay it once, when you send your application. Payment does not guarantee approval.
What if I am not approved?
Shakeid Ministries Global may approve your application, approve it with conditions, suggest a ministry development pathway or decline it, and you see the decision and any message in your student space. If your application is declined, you may apply again later with a new application and its fee.
What does the ministerial membership include?
Once you are approved, the ministerial membership keeps you connected to Shakeid Ministries Global: monthly aftercare and support, covering, accountability and fellowship. It costs $144 a year, renewed automatically, and your price is locked when you join.
Can I cancel the membership?
Yes, at any time, from your student space. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed after that.
Is the ordination recognized?
Shakeid Ministries Global provides ordination that is recognized and respected worldwide. What it allows you to do where you live, such as officiating weddings, depends on your country’s laws and your church.
What happens to my documents?
Your documents are stored securely and shared only with the ordination review team. They are deleted automatically after 30 days; your answers stay with your application so you can follow it in your student space.
